“You can ignore reality, but you can not ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand is one of my favorite writers. I’d say she’s in TOP 10.
This is a different post from the rest of the blog.
I decided to do this post because today came out in various portals and even on TV a very sad tragedy. One guy killed his wife and two small children and then killed himself. This is the most likely hypothesis. Although it is still early to make this conclusion I will do the post based as if this were the truth (there is a possibility of not being).
Such an extreme attitude must have been a consequence of a pain in the soul and an unimaginable suffering in the face. It may be that he had some associated mental illness like depression or bipolar disorder as well, which are great causes of suicide, but I will write as if he did not suffer from these diseases.
Finance is a matter that must be taken seriously.
And you have to take FINANCE very seriously. This is not a joke.
All his work, his life of studies, his profession, the peace of his family, his own peace, EVERYTHING DEPENDS on THAT.
Whoever is unemployed knows what I’m talking about.
I’m going to talk about my experience of unemployment.
I’VE BEEN SIX MONTHS UNEMPLOYED.
Yes, even if I was trying hard, being loyal to the company, even doing everything right I was SUBMITTELY DEMISED only out of jealousy, bullshit and ridicule so ridiculous of coworkers and bosses and sub-bosses above that it all came together in one thing and when I already knew It was too late. They would not even listen to my defense or version. I did not care anymore.
The feeling of unemployment is very bad. You feel the failure, you do not wait for the salary at the end of the month, you spend all day looking for a job on the PC and talking to friends, you react in different ways and I, despite being a very optimistic guy, stay quite low for All the time I was unemployed, and still about 5 months later in my new job. The feeling of injustice is also very bad.
My luck is that I had a little reserve that paid for the quiet bills in this time of unemployment.
FIRST LESSON: JOIN 12 MONTHS OF ACCOUNTS PAID IN THE SAVINGS.
This will give you the peace of mind to change your area, your company, or get out of a job and wait for it to return to the market. This can be the difference between your life and a possible suicide as reported.
It’s no use closing your eyes to reality. We are all subject to suffering GREAT REVERSES in life, whether personal, professional, health or things in the family, THAT IS NOT HOW TO CONTROL. You have to be prepared for a lot, and even if nothing happens you have done your part.
Look, the guy who killed himself had a college degree and the wife too, he was an engineer TIM had a leading position and many years of business, and she was the Marketing, both employees. The guy was very worried about unemployment, household bills, family health plan and his professional relocation, in addition to mentioning some conflicts at work. They lived in a middle-class building at the bar in Rio.
I wonder, in the small private galaxy in my head:
1 – Did the guy prepare to get married? (financial preparation)
2- Had he emergency reserve?
3 – Did you save money and contribute every month?
4- Did the woman help save money or did she simply destroy the assets of both?
5 – Did he have and follow an LF plan in the long run?
The world is FUCK, and life is FUCK. Just a few slips in your life to ruin everything, a marriage, your assets, the trust of your family, children, everything. Simply everything. At the time of the OGX fever, there was a lot of famous history: a man who sold his family’s money to invest and ended up having to live with his father-in-law, people who borrowed money from his brother-in-law and made all-in ogx, Of the family, broke, and the woman left him.
Honestly, when a man breaks into a marriage, usually, marriage is over (feminists save me). I’ve seen that happen. Speak what you say. The man is the provider. Very few women will agree to remain married to a guy who gave them all the good and the best and now has not even the money to buy an egg.
I HAVE ALREADY SEEN THIS CLOSE, SOMETIMES.
Life is not a romance, it is not a dream, it is not strength and claw and this and that.
Life is not the cold Toddynho you get under the freezer when you get home.
Life does not accept dishonesty.
Money does not accept dishonesty.
Take cover. Save. Contribution. Study finance. Learn it. SURVIVE.
Do you think I INVISED TO ENRICH? NO!
Those who have ever been poor know, HOW MUCH IT IS HORRIBLE TO BE POOR. Poor to have to choose if anyone who eats the chicken from your plate is you or your skinny dog. Yes, I lived to live it.
We invest FIRST for one thing: DO NOT impoverish.
It is. That’s basically it. Do not impoverish. This is life’s second challenge.
Life’s first challenge is TO OVERCOME POVERTY.
I do not imagine, I do not, I do not think that all of you and even myself will reach the LF, they will be rich, they will spend summer in Floripa in January / February and then summer in Florida and Europe in July / August.
All I wanted was for you to have more awareness. Why all this is about death, health, illness and the stability and continuity of our families. You do not deserve to lie around, abandoned, dirty, sad, and hungry like a road dog. Many beggars have similar stories to tell, and some go through it. Many marriages end up because of finances, many relationships between parents and children, between siblings and between larger families in general – people invent things, lie, say you are bad character, curse your nephews, disrespect your dead, burn you to others Family members, go to court, prosecute each other in the courts, fight the punch, the knife, the bullet, go to the police station, sometimes have murder or a severe mutilation that leaves sequels.
Men have children killed so they do not pay alimony.
Women have their husbands killed to keep the house (or all goods).
Women have their husband killed to get life insurance money.
Children kill parents to inherit.
Children secretly wish their parents’ death to be inherited.
Grandchildren secretly long for grandparents to die of inheritance.
Husbands have to kill the woman because they want to separate and not share the patrimony.
Husbands order a woman to have an abortion in order not to pay alimony.
Men kill pregnant women not to pay alimony.
And there’s more to it than that. They are just everyday examples.
The substrate is always the same: MONEY.
Every day there is news that is more or less out there.
ALL THIS FOR CASH.
You have to do your part well.
