It is incredible and fascinating the opportunity that the Internet and Youtube give us to have access to content of such good quality, we truly live in the information age, disseminated and available to everyone, bringing equity and equal opportunities to people around the world, Any young person nowadays with a smartphone in hand can see these lectures either in Brazil or the Tokelau Islands, it is up to us to seek knowledge and improve our lives.
Today I come here to share a channel on YouTube that I liked a lot and I’ve seen some videos.
The channel name is Talks at Google, it’s like a more interactive and dynamic TED talks, it even has questions and answers at the end.
In Talks at Google you have several subcategories like authors (from books), economists, investors, science, fashion, media, sport and fitness, marketing, music and etc … I believe they may have been made on Google’s own campus for employees and guests .
I found by chance and watched some videos (they are in English – good to practice English ) and some are very interesting indeed. He has lectures by authors of finance books, gigantic fund managers, and professors of famous universities. For those who have free time and want to see high quality content, a mini-lecture or lecture or even a discussion about a theme, it’s nice to know that. If your English is not good enough to understand only by listening try to put the English subtitles of youtube that already helps a lot.
Here is the channel link Investors at Google:
To see all the subchannel lists within Talks at Google see the link below:
As you know Google is a young, academic company that likes to publish good stuff and quality, it is worthwhile to enrich your knowledge and have access to high level global speakers, people who are very difficult to at least reach close.
As in my case and the visitors of this blog, I recommend giving a pass in the Investors at Google subchannel and see if something interests you. It’s worth the experience.
Next week will be my last contribution of the year.
The contribution will be in TD SELIC, BRCR11 and SDIL11.
I am raising money to buy the SWDA whose share is expensive (3,000 pounds sterling) will stay for January. After Christmas I will travel and I will only come back in the second week of January (I will be half off but I promise to answer the comments and emails).
In January I will do a post reviewing everything I did in 2016, what the results and plans are for 2017.
Around here, everything goes quiet in my personal life, working hard, and studying this part of the outside, and with some books in line to read.
