Hello my friends!
I’m here to tell you how I’m doing with my global stocks portfolio.
I’m a global investor, right?
So, many of yours maybe sometimes wondering how I’m doing, how is to invest abroad, how is to have an international bank account, an international brokerage account.
I’ll tell you, in four years investing my money in a stock market or in real estate market, this is the most important and nice thing that I’m done.
I’m feeling free, I have some dollars abroad, some swiss francs, some euros. I’m talking about strong currencies, invested in strong countries. It gives me a sense of freedom and liberty that I never had. In Brazil, we have a lot of political and financial instability, here the market is very crazy, volatile, little and our currency REAL it’s very unstable too. Things like these told that I should invest abroad for my own protection and so am I.
I started to invest in November 2016 with Berkshire Hathaway, it skyrockets 20% since then. I like this company
After this I invest in CSPKX, it rose 9.44% since then.
My thirty purchase was CSUKX-GBP, it rose 9.10% since then. I bought Germany DAXEX in my fourth purchase, it rises 11,4%
In December I bought CSSX5E-EUR, it rose 12.75% since then. I bought VNQI too at the same day, it rose 3.63% (and paid a good dividend in December too).
I discussed all these stocks here in my blog. I told you how I see the market.
So, this all for this time.
I invested U$ 18,865 dollars abroad since 6 months ago. I have right now U$ 20,988.
My overall return is +10.8% in these six months.
I think I’m doing pretty well. Not because of this return but because of my engagement, discipline, courage, contribution, my studies. I think I really know what I’m doing. I’m the captain of my financial life.
So, don’t get afraid to invest abroad, you’ll feel free and will have some money in strong currency.
I have more 9,000 to invest this month. I’ll buy new assets abroad. I’m thinking in buy some good stocks like Google too, a Swedish ETF and the famous IWDA (SWDA).
If I can, you can.
Thanks for having me.
